ÚĽUV Master Craftsmen Days 2026

On September 5–6, 2026, Bratislava will once again celebrate traditional Slovak crafts at the 36th edition of the ÚĽUV Days of Masters. The festival will take place at Primatial Square, Main Square, Franciscan Square and the St. George’s Courtyard.

This year’s main theme is wire craft, a traditional Slovak craft inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2019.

Visitors can discover demonstrations of traditional crafts including wire craft, blacksmithing, woodwork, wool processing, ceramics, lace-making, weaving and glass painting. The programme will also feature folk music and dance performances, traditional Slovak food, craft workshops for children and a selection of handmade products.
