The modern art museum Danubiana tour

Discover the unique connection of modern art, the Danube landscape and Slovakia’s largest water engineering project on this guided tour outside Bratislava.

The tour takes you to Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum, located on a peninsula surrounded by the waters of the Danube. The museum is one of the most remarkable modern art spaces in Slovakia, combining contemporary art, architecture and nature in a unique riverside setting.

You will also visit the Gabčíkovo Waterworks, an impressive engineering landmark on the Danube, surrounded by protected natural areas that are popular for walks, cycling and outdoor activities. The area is also connected with Slovak water sports and is the training base of Slovak national canoe slalom athletes.
