Contemporary Slovak fine dining inspired by local ingredients, regional traditions and open-fire cooking. The restaurant focuses on seasonal tasting menus that combine Slovak culinary heritage with modern techniques and international standards.

What makes ECK special

Perched above the vineyards of Devín with spectacular views of the Danube River, Devín Castle and the surrounding landscape, ECK is one of Slovakia’s most acclaimed fine dining destinations.

The restaurant was created by chef and founder Daniel Tilinger, who returned to Slovakia after years of international culinary experience to build a restaurant deeply connected to its region. Every dish reflects the local terroir, nearby farms, vineyards and seasonal produce.

What to expect

Guests are served a carefully curated 6-course tasting menu prepared over an open fire, allowing the natural flavours of premium ingredients to shine.

The experience can be enhanced with several wine pairing options selected by sommelier Peter Lunter, a member of the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers. The restaurant’s wine cellar houses more than 9,000 bottles, making ECK one of the most respected wine destinations in Slovakia.

Vegetarian, pescatarian and selected dietary adaptations are available when requested in advance.
