The Small Carpathian Museum is located right in the heart of the Small Carpathians – in the historic royal town of Pezinok. It is housed in an authentic burgher wine-growing house from the 17th century.

For more than 60 years, it has specialized in the regional history and culture of viticulture and winemaking in the Small Carpathians. The museum offers the history of Small Carpathian viticulture, multimedia exhibitions, and experiential wine tastings. It invites you to enter the history of our region and experience it with all your senses.

The story of wine in the Small Carpathians
The interactive exhibition will guide you through the history of viticulture and winemaking in the Malocarpathian wine-growing region, the most important in Slovakia. You will learn about the typical wines of the region, interesting archaeological finds, and a rich collection of Pezinok guild items.
A multimedia presentation on a 3D relief map will show you the 2,000-year history of the region and winemaking in this area in an engaging and unconventional way in just a few minutes.
