What makes Zylinder special

Zylinder is part of the Bencik Culinary Group and is known for reviving traditional Austro-Hungarian imperial cuisine in the heart of Bratislava. Located directly on Hviezdoslav Square, it offers a culinary journey back to the times of Emperor Franz Joseph I.

The restaurant focuses on authentic recipes inspired by the historic Pressburg (Bratislava) gastronomy and imperial Viennese cuisine.

What to expect

Guests can enjoy classic dishes such as Tafelspitz (Emperor’s favourite beef dish), Szeged goulash, Pörkölt, Pressburg schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn.

One of the highlights is the traditional Tafelspitz, served in a copper pot with root vegetables, spinach, potatoes and apple horseradish, prepared according to historic imperial recipes.

Zylinder is located on Hviezdoslavovo námestie, one of the most elegant squares in Bratislava, close to the Slovak National Theatre and the Danube river promenade.
