Since the cultural and economic opening of China in the late 20th century, Chinese contemporary art has gained international recognition. While embracing new forms of expression, many artists continue to draw inspiration from centuries-old artistic techniques, philosophies, and craftsmanship. This exhibition highlights how tradition remains a living and evolving source of creativity.
The featured artworks range from classical ink painting and oil painting to sculpture, textile-based works, and installations. Together, they reveal diverse artistic approaches while sharing a strong connection to Chinese culture and identity.

Artists featured in the exhibition are Chen Qingqing, Shi Jianguo, Gao Xiaowu, Wang Zhidong, Zhang Zhaoda, Ren Sixian, Zhang Linhai, and Jia Lin.
