Visitors are taken on a journey through the final years of Van Gogh’s life, from Arles and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence to Auvers-sur-Oise, where some of his greatest masterpieces were created. More than 400 artworks are featured in a multi-sensory experience that surrounds visitors with the artist’s iconic colours, brushstrokes, and emotions.

A unique aspect of the exhibition is its focus on Johanna van Gogh-Bonger, the wife of Theo van Gogh. Through an audio guide, visitors discover the moving story of Vincent’s life and legacy from her perspective, learning how she played a crucial role in ensuring that his work would be recognised around the world.

Large-scale projections reaching up to 10 metres wide bring masterpieces such as Starry Night, sunflowers, and landscapes to life in a completely new way. The exhibition also explores Van Gogh’s personal struggles, his close relationship with his brother Theo, and the remarkable journey that transformed him from an overlooked artist into one of the most influential painters in history.
