A Garden with a Story

Founded in the 18th century as part of the Baroque estate of the noble Aspremont family, the garden once served as a private noble park. Later opened to the public, it became a cultural and social hub of Pressburg life.
Today, its historic symmetry, long alleys and sculptural elements preserve the atmosphere of a classic European city garden.

Our Tip

Visit in the early evening: the long shadows, calm atmosphere and soft light make Medická záhrada one of the most pleasant places in the city to unwind. Bring a coffee, sit under the tall trees, and listen to the hum of Bratislava around you.
