(opens in a new window)

Hidden inside the 18th-century Apponyi Palace, the Slovak National Wine Collection brings together Slovakia's 100 finest wines under one roof. Every bottle earned its place through the country's most prestigious blind tasting competition grapes from Slovak soil only. It's one of Bratislava's most unique stops for anyone who loves wine.

What to Expect

The highlight is a guided tasting of 72 wines in 100 minutes — a well-paced journey through Slovakia’s best regions, from Small Carpathians whites to eastern Tokaj. After tasting, the on-site wine shop lets you take your favourites home. Many of these bottles aren’t available outside Slovakia.

Getting There

Right in the heart of Old Town — 5 minutes on foot from the Main Square. Easy to combine with a visit to the Old Town Hall or Michael’s Gate next door.
